Coast is a friendly competitive swim team based on the Hibiscus Coast.

We would be keen for you to come to try out with our Coach Mihai.

Mihai Mandache

Head Coach

Mihai has been involved in swimming for many years, competing at Olympic Games Level for Romania. Mihai is a Swimming New Zealand Performance Coach and has been a swim coach for a number of years in Romania and was involved with coaching the National team of Turkey prior to coming to New Zealand.

Mariana Mandache

Assistant Coach

Mariana is Mihai’s wife and has also been involved with swimming for a number of years, competiting for Romania at Olympic Games level. She has coaching experience in Romania and New Zealand.
